Sunday Sharing – Rocking Midlife with Cat Coluccio

I have been fortunate to meet so many amazing bloggers online, and Cat Coluccio has proven to be an exceptional treasure indeed. The more I learn about her, the more impressed I am. She gives us a taste of her background on her Rocking Midlife blog…

“I’m a life-long creative who penned my first earth-shattering novel, “The Purple Mouse”, at the tender age of five. I’ve written all my life, on the side, while recording and performing in front of thousands, as a professional musician, for over two decades. Also, I have worked with people of all ages, in varying roles such as a high school teacher, a music director, a conductor, a lecturer, a principal of a tertiary training college and my most important role, as a wife of nearly 30 years and a mother or two – including six years of homeschooling in their high school years.”

As you can tell, she is full of energy! Go check out her About page and find out what she did after her youngest headed off to college, you will be impressed.

Rocking Midlife Coach, Cat Coluccio

I found Cat through her Rocking Midlife Facebook page, where she offers coaching to her fellow midlife women. She is one of those people who most are drawn to immediately and has a huge following. She’s bigger than life and very beautiful…

But I was even more impressed by her willingness to share her authentic self not only on the outside, but also her struggles as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed her blog post “When Life Gives You Lemons” .Cat faces midlife head on and challenges us to do the same …

“Let’s face it – crap happens, and by midlife, chances are that you have experienced a truck load of the stuff. Job loss, kids run amuck, divorce, health scare, loss of a parent – the list is endless, and to top it off, you now get to contend with a body that is succumbing to gravity, facial hair and deepening etches in your once smooth face.”

In this post she shares some of her very real struggles that could have stopped her…but I’ll let her tell you more. Go check out her post “When life gives you lemons”, I know you will be as inspired as I am.
