I wonder what we will do this weekend?

I think it’s time to dust off the big bike and take her for a spin.

Off on the next adventure

The line up

John mapped out a route up into the mountains on some windy road that he found earlier, so we are heading off to explore.

I wonder what you are doing this weekend?

It’s Memorial Weekend here in the States which usually kicks off the summer fun. When I lived in Oregon it would be the first big camping weekend of the year. And I remember more times than not, the weather would be cold and rainy.

Have you ever seen a Tepui Tent?

What’s your weather for the weekend?

While it is a time for family and camping and fun, it is also Memorial Day, which is not to be confused with Veteran’s Day.

Memorial Day is a time to remember all of the veterans who died during service to our country. What an ultimate sacrifice these service members gave for us. I am grateful none of my brothers died while in the military, and I am deeply saddened for anyone who has lost a loved one.

The wonder of Arlington

I hope you have a “wonder”ful weekend and also take just a moment to honor those we lost.

Happy Memorial Weekend everyone!
